Scenic Labs is the world's leading supplier of seamless ambient videos for public display. Founded in 2009 by decade-long entertainment industry veteran, musician, and Rutgers Business School MBA entrepreneur, Jason Rosenfeld, Scenic Labs focuses entirely on appropriate-for-all, "set and forget" content.
The following is true of all Scenic Labs Content:
- It has all been created within the last two years, with most of it created much more recently. Compare this to some competitors, such as HDScape, for which even their newest programs are all over 2 years old. An eternity in this business. Their aquarium program is based on footage that is almost 9 years old.
- It is all 1080p with 7.1 lossless audio, although you don't need a 7.1 system.
- All Scenic Labs programs, which are a minimum of 1 hour in length can be set to loop, seamlessly, forever.
- There is no nudity (nor are there artistic representations of nudity on our Impressionism disc)
- No "Monkey Business." There is no sexual content or violence (compare to Discovery Channel, which often shows predatory animals or reproductive practices, and may not be considered suitable for children by all of your clients).
- There is no editorializing or opinion. For example, with our Outer Space disc, there is no theoretical, dogmatic or religious content.
- Music can be turned off for any disc featuring nature sounds.
- Even though our prices are lower than everybody else, our products also include one-screen-per-disc public display license. We also offer volume licenses and preloaded hard drives for use on closed circuit residential care, public signage and hospital networks. Compare this to every other company in this business. Because we target customers who engage with the public, we assume that you need permission to display the discs. We are not going to charge extra to use your discs.
- You can leave it running around the clock without any concern about offending anybody. After all, not everybody is watching it by choice. Many people are subjected to entertainment (video, music, atmosphere or otherwise) while they wait.
